Milo MALANGA, Ph.D.

Senior Research Chemist
He joined the company in 2010 as a PhD student. He graduated in chemical and pharmaceutical technologies at the University of Bologna, major in organic chemistry. He made his PhD studies in the frame of the Marie-Curie Initial Training Network project Cyclon and defended his PhD theses at the Eötvös University of Sciences (Budapest). Since January 2013, he has been working in the organic synthesis team at CycloLab. His research interests are the synthesis of new cyclodextrin derivatives for pharmaceutical and biomedical applications, the simplification of synthetic routes towards single isomer cyclodextrins and the industrial scale-up of cyclodextrin compounds. He is author or co-author of 60 research papers, over 40 conference presentations and 4 patents. The total number of citations of his papers is over 500.
