Research Chemist
He joined the company in 2010 as a PhD student. He graduated in chemical and pharmaceutical technologies at the University of Bologna, major in organic chemistry. He made his PhD studies in the frame of the Marie-Curie Initial Training Network project Cyclon and defended his PhD theses at the Eötvös University of Sciences (Budapest). Since January 2013, he has been working in the organic synthesis team at CycloLab and since 2016 he is the head of this laboratory. His research interest is the fluorescent labeling of cyclodextrin derivatives and development of new derivatives with targeting functions. He has supervised a number of students during their secondment or summer practice. He is author or co-author of 30 research papers, over 20 conference presentations and 1 patent. The total number of citations of his papers is over 250.
