Cyclodextrin-based traps to control cooperative action of bacteria.
The 3-year R&D proposal submitted by Lajos Szente has been selected for financial support by the Hungarian Research, Development and Innovation Office (OTKA). The project starting before the end of 2017 aims to understand the mechanism how the CD-based traps capture the signaling molecules used by bacteria for communication and to find the best fitting CD derivative concerning the cavity size, type of substituent, charge, etc.
