The 3rd CYCLON-HIT Summer School dedicated to „Photoactivable antbacterials: from basic concept to practical approaches” has been recently held in Bologna (September 26–28, 2016). The school organiozed by Ilse Manet (ISOF-CNR) and Salvatore Sortino (University of Catania) teaches the photophysical and photochemical principles and gives several examples of cyclodextrin applications in photodynamic therapy.
